Maximizing the Midget(Taming the Giant)

Small companies, pushing new ideas, service and products with significant upside growth potential, often generate innovation opportunities. But creating long-term value and growth means figuring out how to capitalize on that potential. This is a significant challenge for big companies seeking to form alliances with small companies. The workshop will focus on capitalizing on alliances between big and small companies.

The session will explore the power of ” asymmetrical relations” and the differences and expectations between big and small. It will include exchange of experiences between participating companies, explore motivations, structure and key roles essential to collaboration. Participants will take away key insights, practical tools and methodologies essential for establishing radical collaborations that build value for their member firms.

The workshop will be lead by Pia Wågberg of Innventia, Katja Wessling Cleantech Inn Sweden and Bengt Järrehult, formerly of SCA.
