Explore the next wave in customer insight, learning how IKEA is using human emotion to develop breakthrough products. Creating products and services for our future homes is being transformed through a greater understanding of how people interact with their environment. IKEA is building on traditional approaches that put the customer at the center of the design process.

IKEA in partnership with Veryday, the global design firm, is pioneering development that uses customer emotions as the starting point.  The workshop will present IKEA’s latest “intervention” methodology, using results from its “Living Lab.”  Workshop participants will be able to capture learning from IKEA’s “intervention” methodology and apply it to development in their firms or individual work.
