Background:

In order to meet the demands of an agile and fast-moving global market, most companies have realized that innovation is key to stay on the market or become even more profitable.

To be innovative means to have the ability to continuously innovate (incl. non-technological such as service innovation, business models, organizational model, process, etc.). Many organizations have an Innovation manager in place that can lead and organize innovation actions to further develop and implement innovative capacity (a systematic approach integrated into an organization’s processes).

RISE is a research institute owned by the Swedish government with 2200 employees and 3 billion SEK in turnover. It consists of many competences in a variety of technical fields, but also includes competences in non-technical areas such as Innovation management. Our vision is to help companies and organizations to accelerate their innovation by forming tailored partnerships with us.
